About Us
Global Family Alliance is an alliance of Christian families actively sharing the love of Christ with all people.
We do this by seeking opportunities to improve the health and welfare of children and poverty-impacted families in Eastern Europe, especially those in areas affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
The Global Family Alliance board members and volunteers share their faith, hope, and Christian values through Christ-like living and giving. To this end, the organization as a whole is committed to uphold the Statement of Faith as follows.
We believe…
- That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4, Matt. 28:19)
- In the deity of the Son, Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His perfect, sinless life, His atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection and His imminent return in power and glory. (John 1:1, I Cor. 15:3-4, Phil. 2:5-11)
- That the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God, our guide for faith and life. (II Tim. 3:15-16, II Peter 1:21, John 17:17, Matt. 4:4)
- In the intrinsic and immeasurable value of each human being, as created in the image of God. (Gen. 1:26-27, Psalm 139:13-18, I John 3:1)
- That each individual can have a personal relationship with God andeternal life in Him, only through faith in the redeeming act of Jesus Christ on the cross. (Eph. 2:8,9, John 3:16)
- That God has a special love and concern for the poor, the orphans and the destitute (Psalm 146:9, Deut. 10:1718, 14:28-29) and that we, as His followers, have the opportunity, even the responsibility to bring physical and spiritual help to those in need. (James 1:27, I Tim. 6:17-19, Isaiah 58:6-12, Matt. 5:16)
